We understand.

Our Head CFI is also a rotorcraft pilot and didn’t obtain a fixed-wing add-on for quite some time. When he finally decided to transition to fixed-wing, the experience was challenging and finding aircraft and instructors was always a hassle.

This experience inspired him to create an add-on program at R1 Simulation and Training, designed with a personalized approach for each student. Start here, finish here!

Cheap fight training in West Virginia.
Still Deciding?

For a proficient pilot, successfully passing a check-ride typically requires 8–10 hours in the air plus several hours of ground instruction.

Spend that time at R1 Flying, and you’ll see results you can trust.
